About the Producers

This decaf lot comes from three smallholders—Clementino Ramirez, Maria Caceres, and Edis Aguilar—who grow Typica and Parainema on their farms in the high-altitude regions of Comayagua and El Paraíso. Their coffees were processed using washed or honey methods, then decaffeinated by Swiss Water in British Columbia.

All three producers are part of Sueños de Semilla, a long-term sourcing project that connects small-scale farmers with the specialty market, emphasizing fair pricing, transparency, and direct relationships.

Semilla works with communities along the Montecillos mountain range, where smallholders have historically had limited access to quality-focused buyers and fair prices.
